It all started when…
Whit’s tweenager-self discovered Youtube. She watched countless smokey eye tutorials and learned how to master all the braids. She quickly became the go-to beauty guru for all of her family and friends. This meant that when her school district opened a cosmetology school, enrolling was a no-brainer. Achieving her cosmetology license at 17 years old helped jump-start her career where she went straight to work for a Redken Elite commission salon. While she was there, she spent 4 years building clientele and learning everything she possibly could about the industry. In early 2019, armed with this new and exciting knowledge, she decided that she wanted to expand her business and open her own salon “Foiled Studio”. But in three short years, the salon outgrew its small space and was craving a change. Those three years while short, where full of lessons, wins and losses, which inspired Whit to curate a luxury experience for her guests and team by opening a salon that truly cares about each other and our community! We are beyond excited to start this journey and take the hair world by storm!
